The Skin.

Ok people. Let's speak science.

The Skin. The primary defence against antigens ie bacteria, viruses and all other microbes that cause diseases. My lecturer said, the skin is the most important security system in the body. Well, can u imagine. The number of viruses in a m3 of air ranged from 1,700,000 to 40,000,000, while the number of bacteria ranged from 860,000 to 11,000,000. But how on Earth can we stay healthy most of the time? Alhamdulillah, thanks to the superb creation of Allah to protect us, the skin. Then, my teacher continued. The skin will be the most protective barrier, until it got cut. Just one small cut, it will open the door to those thousands of bacteria and viruses to enter our body and invade us. And I don't think we have to talk about all the beta cells and T cells and inflammation etc here. =)

Y so hard to penetrate the skin? 

Ok now, come to the purpose I'm telling all this.

Recalling my last year's Raya post, about the fence that protects the plants in the garden. What is the fence?

"Oleh sebab itu lah, tanah lapang kita yg dipenuhi pohon2 dan tumbuhan merendang ini perlukan pagar yg kuat dan mampu menangkis segala mara bahaya yg mungkin menimpa .. memerlukan ikhlas dalam beramal .. memerlukan sabar dalam menjalani kehidupan .. mungkin sedikit ilmu bagi memastikan kesahihan setiap ibadah?
Nah, barulah hasil dari tanaman2 tadi akan terpelihara, dan hasilnya mampu diperoleh dan digunakan oleh kita!"
How determined are we in strengthening the fences?

Recalling my recent post as well, about the Broken Heart. How well are we in maintaining the building of the bricks that protect our heart?

Read this post the other day. About how we should put an effort in having an animal fencing, in order to keep away the animals that keep on entering our house and poo.

Jahiliyah itu, setelah ditinggalkan, jangan sekali-kali usha dia balik. Jangan jeling pun. Jangan pandang belakang! Sebab, bukan ke jahiliyah itu, selalunya dekat dengan hati kita? Memenuhi kehendak kita? Itulah cara hidup kita, sebelum kita jatuh chenta dgn cik Hidayah itu?

Pagar yang melindungi taman itu, dan batu bata yang melindungi hati tu, sama la macam kulit yang melindungi tubuh badan kita tu. Just one small cut, and all those bad things will invade u, and destroy you, slowly from within.

And the antibody that u need to kill all the bacteria that invaded your body is,

 They are those who believe and whose hearts find rest in the remembrance of Allah. Lo! in the remembrance of Allah hearts do find rest. (13:28)
