Broken Heart.

That piece of heart.
Which was once broken here and there.
Got sealed and taken good care of.

The bricks.
Was built so carefully, with lot of love and mercy.

The sunshine and the wind and the rain.
Keep on coming.
Sometimes it's harsh and mean, sometimes it's slow and steady.
But the bricks keep on building and protecting.

But, so long after.
The bricks were left to themselves.
While the sun and the rain and the wind keep on coming.

And now, the strong brick wall becomes so fragile and brittle.
Leaving that piece of heart wide open to the sun, the rain and the wind.
That break the heart, slowly and steadily, from within.

Men are from Makkah, Women are from Medina.

Suami (rijal) adalah qawama (pelindung) kepada isterinya (nisa) - An-Nisa : 34

A lil doodle I did just now throughout a talk by Dr Harlina Halizah Siraj, "Men are from Makkah, Women are from Medina". Awesome! ♥

A bit explanation:

Mekka is a hard, dry land – Much like this, men are generally dry and don’t know how to cry. If they do, they don’t want to show it and instead keep all the pain within them under the guise of masculinity.

Medina is soft, with water flowing beneath it and the rain is consistent throughout its seasons – Which reflects women who can easily cry and they’re not scared to show their emotions. In fact, under the guise of femininity they display their emotions regularly.

Mekka has a harsh climate; it’s rough and known to be a mountainous area – Men’s beauty lies in their masculinity, power strength and ruggedness. This is what makes them attractive and allows them to lead effectively.

Medina is lush, full of splendour and serenity – Women are known to be peaceful, full of serenity and their femininity makes them beautiful.

Mekka’s main emotion is `izzah, they are full of honour and will do anything to protect it. They like to be respected and acknowledged, this is what motivates them to excel as individuals.

Medina is full of sukoon, the people are known for their softness. Women are generally more loving and caring; they’re soft by nature and will generally give more than they receive.

Differences in Qur’anic verses

Mekkan (Makiyyah) verses are short, straight to the point and general.

Medinan (Madaniyyah) verses are long, detailed and at times they keep going on, and on.

Happy birthday.

Assalamualaikum wbt..

Syeikh Sajid Umar explained about the dream of Yusuf AS, about the sun, the moon and the stars.

In a family, the sun is like the dad, the moon is like the mother, and the stars is like the children.
The sun shines so brightly and gloriously on the day. The moon shines not as bright as the sun, but is still so adorable and pretty. The stars will go twinkling and 'playing around' only when the moon is there. The moon actually get it's light from the sun.
The dad is the one to go out and work to sustain the family as he is the 'source of energy' to the family. He is the one to protect the whole family. The mom is so pretty and adorable to her family. She is the one to take a good care of her 'twinkling stars', her children.

Saudara Aiman Azlan bercerita tentang Perkahwinan dalam Sebuah Kereta.  Err, baca sendiri boleh, malas nak huraikan. Hehe.
Teringat perjalanan pulang ke kampung bersama keluarga.

Berkongsi cerita tentang Surah Lukman, ayat 1-20.  Nasihat seorang ayah kepada anaknya. Sampai kepada ayat 14, ".........bersyukurlah kepada-Kundan kedua orang tuamu........."
Betapa kita seharusnya memuliakan kedua orang tua kita selepas Allah.

Ok, nampak kemalasan di situ kan? Bits here and bits there.

Apa point nak cerita sebenarnya?

Pertama, sy rindu keluarga saya. Tak, bkn homesick. Rindu.

Secondly, been here and there, met him, her and them, watched this and that happening, heard these and those stories, made me felt so blessed, alhamdulillah. And one of the thing that I am feeling really greatful of is my family. They who raised me up and loved me and accepted me the way I am. And I really hope that I can be a good daughter and sister to them, insyaAllah.

Ketiga, it's my dad birthday today, which explains the title of the post! hehe.

Sekian.

P/s : Summer holiday coming to it's end. Mixed feelings. :l

Hello Final Year.

Alhamdulillah.
Officially a final year student now.

Diuji.
Reaksi waktu terjatuh.
Reaksi apabila dibangkitkan semula.
Bersyukur? Redha? Menyalahkan?

Dalam kembara yang panjang ini.
Mencari keberkatan.
Mencari makna keikhlasan.
Memahami erti pengorbanan.

Maka yang mana satu di antara nikmat-nikmat Tuhan kamu, yang kamu hendak dustakan? (Ar-Rahmaan)

*Random di tengah malam.

The Journey.

I see a girl.
She is in a journey.

In front of her is this one long, narrow, zig-zag road.

Along the way, she met a lot of people.
Some people helped her with the journey, some made her fall down.
Some gave her 100Plus, some gave her Pepsi.
Some show her the right way, some made her lost.
Some accidently made her lost, and they searched the right way together.

Sometimes, she found beautiful flowers, and stopped for a while.
Sometimes, she got stung by a bee, and ran away.
Sometimes, there was no bees around the flowers.
She tried to remember which flowers got bees, and which are not.
But, a forgetful little girl she is, she sometimes forgotten, and got stung by bees.

When it rains, she always found cave for shelter.
When she's hungry, she always found apple trees, for the apple lah kan.
When she's thirsty, there will always be a river in front of her.
These made the girl ponder, "How Merciful the Creator is towards His creations!"

And there she goes, still on her journey.
It was a long journey, but she have no idea if it is still long, or if it will end soon.
She is just trying her best, to appreciate every moments she have.
To say thanks for the 100Plus, and say no to the pepsi.
To remember which flowers got bees around them.

May Allah bless the journey.
Of the girl, of u, and of me.

p/s :  haha. sindrom meng'scroll' timeline FB. betapa hidup ini suatu journey.
Tetiba datang ilham sebegini, walaupun, mungkin bunyinya tidak berseni.
Buang yang keruh, Ambil yg jernih.
